then & now

We loosely define a vehicle as: 'Any means in or by which someone travels or something is carried or conveyed; a means of conveyance or transport.' -
And, if you get tired of cars and bikes and want to fly 'up, up and away!' there is now an electrically powered aircraft, the volocopter. Developed by 'e-volo' in Germany it is a novel concept in aviation and brings an entirely new category to aircraft types.

This is where we began or should that be this is the part of the website we began with; CAEV has evolved from a facebook page created on 15 November 2012 by an individual with a passion for electric vehicles to the organisation you see today. Along with our other activities we will be maintaining this part of the site to bring news of developments in electric vehicles and equally important present the history of the subject. Scotland has its own section; no surprise there.
